2010 America East Coach of the Year Rick Sowell guided the Seawolves to their best season in the 27-year history of the program. Sowell is 37-22 in four seasons at the helm.

-The America East All-Conference Team was announced, including a record-best five First Team Selections (Kevin Crowley '11, Jordan McBride '11, Steve Waldeck '10, Charlie Paar '10, Tom Compitello '11); one Second Team Selection (Adam Rand '11); Coach of the Year (Rick Sowell); and Player of the Year (Kevin Crowley '11). Kevin Crowley '11 wins the Lt. Raymond J. Kevin Crowley '11, the 2010 AE Player of the Year, was named the most outstanding player in all of Division I college lacrosse.


-The
USILA Division I All America Team includes four Seawolves, which is an all-time best for SB. Kevin Crowley '11 was named to the First Team (a first for SB); Jordan McBride '11 to the Third Team (also a first for SB), and Steve Waldeck '10 and Tom Compitello '11 to the Honorable Mention Team. This marks SB's first ever season with more than one selection. -Inside Lacrosse published its
2010 Specialist Rankings, which included a cover photo of Steve Waldeck '10. Steve was listed at #2 for all LSMs in Division I, boasting 112 ground balls (6.59/game, 5th best in the NCAA), 2 caused turnovers per game, and lead all LSMs with 10G and 4A. Faceoff Specialist Adam Rand '11 came in at #6 for leading the country again in faceoff % by going 266 for 432 (61.6%, 3rd best in the NCAA). Adam Rand '11 has nearly lead the entire NCAA in faceoff % for three seasons, twice ranked in the top 5.
