-Chris Goldberg of PhillyLacrosse.com reported that defenseman Bradley Garcia '17 (Doylestown, PA / Germantown Academy) has verbally committed to play for SB. High school rising junior Bradley Garcia '17 said of SB: “
Academically, Stony Brook is a strong school with a great Engineering School. Coach Nagle and the team were really welcoming on my visit. I like the defensive philosophy at Stony Brook and I felt it was a great fit. Also, the lacrosse atmosphere is exciting.

-StonyBrook.edu reported on the completion of Wolfie's Lounge in the Student Union, which includes SB Lacrosse memorabilia, including photographs, helmets, and jerseys:

Wolfie's Lounge includes the jersey (#17) of former defenseman Kyle Pearl '05 hanging on the wall.


-StonyBrook.edu also reported on the completion of the Simons Center, which is a six story, 40,000 square foot facility housing an auditorium, lecture halls and seminar rooms

Former SB professor and administrator Jim Simons donated $85M to the University over the course of 2006-2008 to benefit the Math & Physics programs.
