-SB Athletics has posted updated photos of the SB Arena renovation here: http://www.goseawolves.org/view.gal?id=123469


 The SB Arena, which is set to open in 2014, is currently being gutted and renovated.  Click on the image above to see more construction photos.



The renovated SB Arena will rotate the court 90 degrees, with permanent stands on all sides.

-College Insider posted its Mid-Major Top 25 basketball poll, including SB Basketball (#24) for the first time ever: http://www.collegeinsider.com/mens-mid-major-top-25.php


SB Basketball is currently sitting in first place in the AE at 16-5 (7-1) and is climbing the national polls.

Jeremy Lundblad of ESPN recapped the weekend of college basketball, including that Tommy Brenton scored a triple-double against Maine, which is the first in SB history and only the third instance in the last 15 years across Division I. http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/74173/numbers-to-know-weekend-recap-6

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports NY featured SB Basketball and interviewed Tommy Brenton on their chances to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2013/01/29/rothstein-files-brenton-stony-brook-eye-the-field-of-68/


Rothstein said that Tommy Brenton "has single handedly taken SB from basketball purgatory to a mid-major program that’s annually competing for a chance to go to the NCAA Tournament."
