-Julianne Cauley of the Coppell Student Media reported on the Coppell Cowboys winning the Texas Division I championship, lead by incoming midfielder Alec Lucas '15. The Cowboys moved from Texas Division II, where they won the 2009 and 2010 championships as well. Alec Lucas '15 and the Coppell Cowboys won the Texas Division I championship in only their first year in the league and a 15-4 record. The Cowboys compiled a record of 57-11 over the past four seasons.
-Pat McGushin '15 lead the St. Charles Saints to a 15-5 record and was named All America. Pat McGushin '15 was one of 8 goalies nationally selected to play in the ESPN Rise All America Showcase this summer.
-Jason Molinet of the West Islip Patch reported on Mike Diggle '15 and the West Islip Lions rallying to a 19-1 record before falling to Farmingdale HS in overtime in the Long Island Championship. Rising high school senior Andrew Buron '16 scored 18G, 10A during his junior year at Duxbury HS, the Massachusetts State Champions. Click on the image above to watch footage of him playing.

I recently visited the campus and loved it. I immediately knew I wanted to be a student there. -Joe Lombardi of LaxLessons reported on SB Lacrosse receiving a commitment from rising senior Anthony Berardis '16 of Mahopac HS. Berardis made headlines in his junior season when he scored the game winning goal against Yorktown HS in two overtimes to seal the upset. Mahopac had not beaten Yorktown in 19 seasons. In 2011, he registered 27G, 20A, and 46GB from midfield.

-The Suffolk County Lacrosse Coaches Association named incoming midfielder Luke Miller '15 the recipient of the 2011 Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award. Luke Miller '15 represented Long Island in the 2010 Empire State Games and was named All County in 2011. His older brother Matt won the award as well in 2002.
Previous Suffolk County Enners Award recipients include SB Lacrosse alums Chris Theofield '95 and Larry Cerasi '07. And I think we've taken over the marketplace on Long Island, to be perfectly honest with you." -The America East named its 2011 America East Scholar-Athletes, including Kevin Crowley '11. Crowley graduated with a 3.38 cumulative GPA and a double major in business management and psychology. The first overall pick in the 2011 NLL Draft, Kevin Crowley '11 was a USILA First Team All America selection (2x), 2010 NCAA Player of the Year, and 2011 NCAA Midfielder of the Year. Crowley earned All-America East honors in each of his four years and is the only player in SB Lacrosse history to exceed 100G and 100A.
-Laxpower.com is reporting that attackman Nick Watson '15 (Oldham, UK / Rochdale LC) has signed with SB Lacrosse and will be attending in the fall of 2011. Watson represented Team England in 2010, along with current defenseman Jak Wawrzyniak '14.
Inside Lacrosse listed Nick Watson '15 in a column entitled "Names You Should Learn" during the 2010 FIL World Championships, describing him as an "ankle breaker" that can make defenders fall over, akin to the speed Mike Powell of Syracuse.
Watson played attack for Rochdale Lacrosse Club in England. You find video footage of him playing below:

Andrew Dorsey '15, shown holding the Section II Class A trophy, lead his team to a 19-2 record and reached the NY State Class A Downstate Finals against Farmingdale.
-Incoming midfielders Connor Duddy '15, Matt Scalera '15, and Nick Pelella '15 have achieved much success at Comsewogue HS in 2011 alone, including a 16-1 record, a #50 national ranking, and a NY Section B 11 Title.
-Tim Thomas of In Lax We Trust reported on the Rochester Rattlers, including the career of Jordan McBride '11. Thomas described McBride as a sniper who scores often and has the speed and explosiveness to be a force in the MLL. After a quiet start to his rookie campaign, Kevin Crowley '11 burst onto the MLL scene last week with 4G, 2A. Crowley was also named Bud Light Player of the Game for his 4G, 2A against Long Island.
Kevin Crowley '11 has scored 6G, 4A in his last three games. He finished his collegiate career at Stony Brook as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 232 points.
