Stamp said of Kevin Crowley '11 (left): "Any time you’re in on 63% of your team’s goals you’re doing something right, and Crowley definitely did some things right Saturday, as he usually does."  Stamp also said Jordan McBride '11 (right) is "third on the Mammoth in scoring and looking like a bigger offensive threat each week".

The article also mentioned that Robbie Campbell '12 has been traded from the Rochester Knighthawks to the Philadelphia Wings. 

Robbie Campbell '12 will join former teammate Kevin Crowley '11 on the Philadelphia Wings.  Campbell and Crowley played midfield together at SB for three seasons and also with Team Canada.

Kyle Belton '12 scored a hat trick as the Toronto Rock beat the Philadelphia Wings 13-8.  Belton also scooped up 7 loose balls. 


Jordan McBride '11 scored four goals in the 16-13 victory over the Buffalo Bandits.


Mammoth coach Bob Hamley said Jordan McBride '11: "is really coming into his own... great hands and he's constantly learning from some of the best, like (John) Junior (Grant).... if he gets on top of a goalie he's money. We're pretty excited about his efforts and his maturity.''

Foy said Rogers is: "another in a line of Stony Brook's big, productive Canadian middies... One of a handful of freshmen to watch for the Seawolves, who are a sneaky 4-3."

RECRUITING ROUNDUP (MAR13)

-Tom Peace of Lacrosse Magazine previewed the top ten high school teams in the northeast region.  Peace listed Tyler Andreassi '17 and Jake Sheets '18 as Players to Watch for 2013: http://www.laxmagazine.com/high_school/boys/2012-13/news/030613_nike_us_lacrosse_northeast_region_report


Tyler Andreassi '17 (left) is a star on both the lacrosse and football fields, making the First Team All-NY State as a sophomore, playing DE, FB, ILB, RB, and TE.

Peace said Andreassi will: "have a big senior year... solid defense... has speed and great stick work to move the ball on the offensive end of the field."



ESPN ranked Tyler Andreassi '17 (left) in its Top 50 Juniors (#37) and also as the third best long stick midfielder in his class.


Peace also wrote that rising junior Jake Sheets '18: "had an eye-opening sophomore season, putting up a combined 89 points... has the tools and the footwork to have a monster 2013 season."



Attackman Jake Sheets '18 (center) was the leading returning scorer in Suffolk as only a rising junior.  Sheets has been on varsity since 8th grade and also plays QB and DB for the football team.



Jake Sheets '18 has totalled 64G, 57A during his freshman and sophomore seasons alone.
