Jim Nagle lead the Colgate Red Raiders to recent victories over Maryland and Syracuse (2x) and a combined 11 victories over Army and Navy.

-SB Campus Recreation has commenced construction of the Campus Recreation Center, located in between the Student Union and the Sports Complex. With three floors and
85,000 square feet of space, the facility will feature a three-court gym, three fitness studios, a 17,000 square foot weightroom, offices, and indoor track, a multi-purpose court, locker rooms, and two lounges. http://studentaffairs.stonybrook.edu/reccenter/index.shtml

-Chris Vaccaro of the Sachem Patch reported on Head Coach Jim Nagle and his ties to Sachem as a graduate of Ward Melville HS. http://sachem.patch.com/articles/one-degree-of-separation-for-nagle-and-sachem


Jim Nagle was a member of the 1988 Ward Melville squad that went 24-0 and won the state championship. Nagle was named to the All-County team that year as well.

-The Philadelphia Union announced the Fall Ball for a Cure, an exhibition event on October 22nd, 2011 that will feature SB Lacrosse versus Loyola, and Villanova versus Siena. The event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and will take place at PPL Park in Chester, PA. The Fall Brawl for a Cure will feature Division I lacrosse and youth lacrosse while raising proceeds for the American Cancer Society.


-Mike Curatolo '93 has just completed one of his most successful seasons at the helm of Cardinal Gibbons HS lacrosse in North Carolina, garnering a 17-2 record and a North Carolina Conference 3 title. http://teamcarolina.stickwithus.org/the-staff/


Former SB Lacrosse captain Mike Curatolo '93 has led the Crusaders to ten consecutive post-season appearances, including the 2004 and 2006 State Championship game. He was named NCISAA Coach of the Year in 1999 and 2004.


In addition to appearing in the State Semifinals in four of the last five seasons, Curatolo has also coached Team Carolina and the US Lacrosse High School National Showcase South Squad.




Mike Curatolo '93 was a freshman midfielder on the squad that won 12 straight games in 1990 and captained the 1993 team during his senior year.

-Newsday compiled statistics for Suffolk County lacrosse, which includes Connor Duddy '15 of Comsewogue HS registering 71 points on the season, good for 17th best in Suffolk County. -SB Lacrosse has won its third straight AE Regular Season Title, by virtue of the win over Vermont. They have clinched 1st place and home field advantage for the AE Tournament, which will start at LaValle Stadium on May 4 at 7pm. Should SB advance to the Final, that will also be held at LaValle Stadium on May 7 at 3pm.
