-SB Athletics reported on senior Lucy Van Dalen '12 qualifying for the Olympic Games in the 1,500 meter event. Van Dalen will represent her native New Zealand in London this summer: http://www.goseawolves.org/sports/c-track/spec-rel/070512aaa.html


-Joe Lombardi of Lax Lessons reported that rising junior Mike Calvagna '18 has verbally committed to SB. Rising junior Mike Calvagna '18 said: "As one of the top universities in the country, Stony Brook has everything I was looking for in academics and athletics. Coach Nagle and his staff made me feel comfortable about fitting into their program. It is also close enough to home for my family to come and watch me play".

Calvagna will join four other teammates from Sachem North HS on the SB roster, including Tyler Andreassi '17, Jake Cabble '16, and Mike Andreassi '15.


-Joe Lombardi also reported on recruiting at Inside Lacrosse, including the recent verbals from Mike Calvagna '18 and Ryan Mahon '17. As a sophomore, Mike Calvagna '18 (left) helped Sachem North HS win over 61% of its faceoffs en route to a 13-5 record.


-Stephen Stamp of Inside Lacrosse reported on the Adrenaline All Canada Games, announcing that Rhys Duch '08 will be coaching the 2015 Midwest squad.
