Attackman Mike Rooney '15 lead SB in scoring in 2012 as a redshirt freshman.

-The Princeton Review named Stony Brook one of the nation's "Best Value" universities

In 2013, SB was also named a top value public college by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance.  Also in 2013, the US News & World Report listed SB in the top 100 national universities and the top 40 public universities.

SB University Medical Center boasts multiple notable research discoveries in medicine.


-SB Athletics announced that senior RB Miguel Maysonet has been invited to the NFL Combine later this month: http://www.goseawolves.org/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/020713aac.html



Miguel Maysonet is one of only 38 running backs invited to the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.  Maysonet ran for 231 yards and 2 TDs in SB's first ever FBS victory over Army.
