AD Jim Fiore accepts a game ball from SB President Sam Stanley. Fiore said: "I wanted the community to be engaged and to have this be Long Island's team. So we went right after Hofstra. We went right after them. And I think we've taken over the marketplace on Long Island, to be perfectly honest with you."


-The America East named its 2011 America East Scholar-Athletes, including Kevin Crowley '11. Crowley graduated with a 3.38 cumulative GPA and a double major in business management and psychology. Crowley was also named a 2011 Scholar All-American, a Lowe’s Senior CLASS finalist, a SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar Athlete (2x), and also to the America East All-Academic Team (3x). http://www.americaeast.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=14000&ATCLID=205179467


The first overall pick in the 2011 NLL Draft, Kevin Crowley '11 was a USILA First Team All America selection (2x), 2010 NCAA Player of the Year, and 2011 NCAA Midfielder of the Year. Crowley earned All-America East honors in each of his four years and is the only player in SB Lacrosse history to exceed 100G and 100A.
