RECRUITING ROUNDUP (JUL11)

-Laxpower.com is reporting that attackman Nick Watson '15 (Oldham, UK / Rochdale LC) has signed with SB Lacrosse and will be attending in the fall of 2011. Watson represented Team England in 2010, along with current defenseman Jak Wawrzyniak '14.


Inside Lacrosse
listed Nick Watson '15 in a column entitled "Names You Should Learn" during the 2010 FIL World Championships, describing him as an "ankle breaker" that can make defenders fall over, akin to the speed Mike Powell of Syracuse.


Watson played attack for Rochdale Lacrosse Club in England. You find video footage of him playing below:

Shenendehowa's Andrew Dorsey '15 anchored the defense in the Plainsmen's 9-4 victory over Niskayuna during the Section II Class A finals.

Andrew Dorsey '15, shown holding the Section II Class A trophy, lead his team to a 19-2 record and reached the NY State Class A Downstate Finals against Farmingdale.


-Incoming midfielders Connor Duddy '15, Matt Scalera '15,
and Nick Pelella '15 have achieved much success at Comsewogue HS in 2011 alone, including a 16-1 record, a #50 national ranking, and a NY Section B 11 Title.
