-Julianne Cauley of the Coppell Student Media reported on the Coppell Cowboys winning the Texas Division I championship, lead by incoming midfielder Alec Lucas '15. The Cowboys moved from Texas Division II, where they won the 2009 and 2010 championships as well. Alec Lucas '15 and the Coppell Cowboys won the Texas Division I championship in only their first year in the league and a 15-4 record. The Cowboys compiled a record of 57-11 over the past four seasons.

-Jason Molinet of the West Islip Patch reported on Mike Diggle '15 and the West Islip Lions rallying to a 19-1 record before falling to Farmingdale HS in overtime in the Long Island Championship.
