Assistant coach Andrew Watkins is a Colgate alumnus who captained the Red Raiders in 2008 and 2009. SB Lacrosse held its Annual Odd/Even Alumni Game on April 23rd, 2011, where the Odd Team earned a victory over the Even Team. Later, the Varsity defeated Albany by a score of 23-11.

The Hamilton Nationals chose Kevin Crowley '11 first in the draft, and acquired Adam Rand '11 in a trade shortly thereafter. Kessenich referred to the Nationals' 2011 draft class as the "best draft class in MLL history".
Both Kevin Crowley '11 and Jordan McBride '11 registered 1G, 4A each to send the Salmonbellies to the WLA finals. The duo combined for all eight assists in the 8-5 victory over Maple Ridge.

-The Colon Club featured cancer survivor Michael Giangrasso '86 in its March 2011 Calendar, including interviews with Giangrasso and his battle with stage III colon cancer. Giangrasso underwent surgery to remove 18 inches of his lower colon, lymph nodes, and his right kidney. After enduring months of chemotherapy, Giangrasso has mostly recovered. Head coach Jim Nagle played attack at Loyola, making the NCAA tournament all four years and reaching the national championship in 1990. At Colgate, Nagle was named Patriot Coach of the Year twice.
The former Colgate head coach Jim Nagle has already obtained verbal commitments from at least six high school juniors to attend SB in the fall of 2012.
-Jason Donville of IL Indoor did a study on Canadians playing NCAA lacrosse, including a statistical analysis of point scoring. He concluded that Kevin Crowley '11 was the second leading point scorer per game (4.0) and Jordan McBride '11 was the third leading goal scorer (41). After graduating from SB, Rhys Duch '08 was drafted third overall into the NLL by the San Jose Stealth where he garnered Rookie of the Year honors and broke the rookie scoring record. Duch became a member of Team Canada for the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships and won a gold medal in 2010.

St. John's head coach Jason Miller said of Wilson "I'm very pleased to be able to bring in a guy with Errol's experience... he'll be able to make significant contributions at both ends of the field... -SB Lacrosse received another verbal commitment from rising senior Frank Lucatuorto '16 of national powerhouse Ward Melville HS. Lucatuorto is a faceoff specialist that can also play offense and defense.

Frank Lucatuorto '16 played in the Suffolk Rising Junior Showcase and the Suffolk Rising Senior Showcase. He was also named to the Inside Lacrosse Rising Sophomore Watchlist and the ESPN RISE Rising Junior Watchlist.
Frank Lucatuorto '16 is also an outstanding running back for WM football and is a physical player that can faceoff, play defensive and offensive midfield.

Steven Waldeck '10 has played in every game this season for the Hamilton Nationals. In 2010, Waldeck lead Division I in scoring among all long poles with 10G, 4A and was named honorable mention All-America.
Adam Rand '11 was traded to the Long Island Lizards and won 15 of 28 draws against his former team.
