PRO & INTERNATIONAL UPDATE 25aug11

-Stephen Stamp of IL Indoor reported on the Western Lacrosse Assocation in western Canada, including the New Westminster Salmonbellies victory over Maple Ridge. Kevin Crowley '11 scored 2G, 2A and Jordan McBride '11 scored 2G in the victory. Stamp referred to Kevin Crowley '11 and Jordan McBride '11 (pictured above) as "top NLL prospects".



Both Kevin Crowley '11 and Jordan McBride '11 were drafted in the first round of the 2011 MLL Draft and are starting for their respective teams.


-Stephen Stamp of IL Indoor also reported on the Salmonbellies victory over the Langley Thunder, where Kevin Crowley '11 included 4G, 1A. -Kyle Devitte of Inside Lacrosse reported on the upcoming MLL playoffs featuring Hamilton and Denver. -Steve Kojima of IL Indoor announced a fan poll for the 2011 MVP of the WLA, in which Rhys Duch '08 finished in fourth place. http://www.ilindoor.com/2011/08/03/wla-notebook-2011-awards-edition/


Rhys Duch '08 registered 31G, 37A in only fourteen games with the Victoria Shamrocks, en route to a fourth place finish for MVP in the fan poll.
